We hope for change that will somehow, by legislative fiat, change everyone's hearts and minds and make us all good people by giving control over our lives, not to us, but to politicians (and oh, what a trustworthy lot they've proved to be).

When has that EVER worked.

And to make sure the transition to socialism is complete, they will spend until our economic system collapses of its own weight and then pronounce the American dream a failure over the ashes.

I'm with Boehner. You have to wonder when they will propose some sort of test or loyalty prerequisite before you can vote?

How's that hope change working out for you? The best argument for the comma before the conjunction in a series.

I like the look of the serial comma that leaves the last one off, but I cannot deny that in the case you documented, it's essential to define the meaning of the phrase. It's not possible. The reason the so-called mainstream, self-proclaimed "unbiased" media is losing audience is because it is becoming increasingly apparent that they are no such thing.

Air America believed it spoke the whole truth and nothing but the truth. People disagreed. They went bankrupt.

When people don't believe what you are telling them, they are unlikely to contribute to your fund drive. Meanwhile unabashedly conservative media outlets are having a boom year. The reason I most hear from the "mainstream" is that most people are dumber than a box of rocks and we should silence conservative news and commentary so they can be taught the "correct" version of the news and current events.

I suppose even George Soros and his ilk don't have enough cash to prop up everyone. Too bad too. I like to listen to liberal media once in a while, just to make sure I'm hearing them properly.

I really am sorry to see the site go. You guys on the left need to really open up those wallets and give! I don't think Obama's stash has enough left in it either.

Sorry, I keep doing that and it's not nice. I apologize. Hope they're successful in their fund-raising campaign. We need honest diverse voices out there.Che' Gorillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06194042019016329484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723461.post-1674878553683779982010-01-18T12:52:18.117-08:002010-01-18T12:52:18.117-08:00interesting...I don't even know what it is and...interesting...I don't even know what it is and I want one!
DarrylAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723461.post-15356390166263348822010-01-11T08:53:54.245-08:002010-01-11T08:53:54.245-08:00Actually,good post. thxActually, good post. thxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723461.post-49797748428688212562010-01-10T02:54:54.578-08:002010-01-10T02:54:54.578-08:00Keep posting stuff like this i really like itKeep posting stuff like this i really like itAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6723461.post-14355592008879124102010-01-02T21:09:46.188-08:002010-01-02T21:09:46.188-08:00I like the idea of an e-book... There were far more egregious factual errors and just plain made up stuff. You forgot one of the most controversial "called errors" of the year that resulted in an English Lord winning a lawsuit that forced British schools to issue a disclaimer before teaching Al Gore's book "An Inconvenient Truth" because of significant factual errors.
